MINIMAL GROUP

first used in a practical sense by Polish-born British social psychologist Henri Tajfel (1919 – 1982) in his paradigm, the minimal group is a nominal group which typically lacks the features found in the majority of social groups such as cohesion, shared characteristics, interdependence, joint activities and a solid group structure.
