Radical Psychiatry: Systems Over Symptoms

A theory in psychiatry that proposes a client’s psychological problems are the result of being victimized by social, economic and political systems in which they live and over which they have no control. Therefore, the theory states, it is the system and not the individual that should face intervention and change.
