SULLIVAN’S INTERPERSONAL THEORY

psychological theory developed by Harry Stack Sullivan, which stated that person’s character is shaped through interpersonal contacts, i.e. Contacts with other people around him. This theory states that personal development happens in several phases, in childhood, in early, and in late adolescence.
