AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA)

an American national legislation that forbids employing and various other occupational practices that treats others unfairly based on their physical or cognitive disabilities, unless of course it can be demonstrated that such would block the person from operating to the full capacity that their job requires. Disabilities are perceived as genuine or recognized restrictions that take away from any number of significant life events. The ADA also forbids discriminating behavior in other regions, such as right of entry to programs, professional services and events offered by a community organization- right of entry to public accommodations- and access to telecoms.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA): “The ADA is the driving force behind many of the federal legislations that have taken place over the years, such as the mandatory implementation of handicap access.”
