MIXED EMOTIONS

is the process of experiencing more than one emotion at a time as a result of an event. For example, a mother maybe proud that their son is moving out to attend university but sad at the same time because they are leaving the family home.

MIXED EMOTIONS: “Mixed emotions are typically felt at times of great hardship or prosperity for an individual, for example, having lost a family member the individual may feel sad they are gone but happy they are out of pain.”
