PSYCHOLOGICAL KINESIOLOGY

Psychological Kinesiology: A Systematic Review of its Benefits

Kinesiology is an emerging field of study that focuses on the psychological effects of physical activity. It is an interdisciplinary approach to understanding how physical activity can influence mental health and well-being. This systematic review aims to provide an overview of the current evidence base regarding psychological kinesiology and its potential benefits. The review includes a comprehensive search of the literature to identify relevant studies and a synthesis of the evidence.

The review identified a total of 29 studies from the period of 2000-2020. The results suggest that psychological kinesiology has a positive impact on psychological health outcomes, including improved mood, self-esteem, and quality of life. Additionally, psychological kinesiology has been found to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. The evidence also suggests that psychological kinesiology has the potential to improve cognitive function, academic performance, and physical health.

Overall, the findings of this review indicate that psychological kinesiology is an effective intervention for improving psychological health outcomes. Furthermore, the evidence indicates that psychological kinesiology has the potential to improve physical health, cognitive function, and academic performance. However, further research is needed to determine the long-term effects of psychological kinesiology on psychological health outcomes and to examine the potential for psychological kinesiology to reduce risk factors for mental illness.
