PSYCHOLOGICAL REFRACTORY PERIOD (PRP)

The period of time following a response to a given second stimulus, when it is presented only a short period of time after the presentation of an earlier stimulus. Reaction time for the second is increased when its stimulus is presented immediately. Psychological Refractory Period (PRP) has been blamed on a response selection bottleneck
