SUPPORT GROUP

Group that contains individuals with similar problems, who meet on a regular basis to share problems and get support and advices from each other. This type of group is usually led by the professional leader who doesn’t have problems as group members, and is there in the role of facilitator and administrator to assure effective “work” of the group.

SUPPORT GROUP: “Example: Support groups for anonymous alcoholics (AA groups), for drug addicts, and similar.”
