MCCARTHY SCALES OF CHILDREN’S ABILITIES


is an instrument which is used to measure the cognitive and motor abilities of children between the ages of 2 and 81 years old. There are 18 sub tests which use 6 overlapping scales. First proposed by Dorothea McCarthy in 1972.

MCCARTHY SCALES OF CHILDREN’S ABILITIES: “One of the many scales which looks at the cognitive and motor abilities of children is the McCarthy Scales of Children’s Abilities.”
